Data Controller

The Data Controller is Ivan Ferrario, owner of the sole proprietorship operating under the names “Circus Eventi” / “Circus Drink Catering”, with registered office at Viale Vittorio Veneto 48, 22070 Cirimido (CO), Italy, VAT number 04312990130.

Types of data collected

When using this website, we collect, among other things, browsing data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and data voluntarily provided by the user through the contact form (first name, last name, email, phone number, details of the requested event and any other information included in the message).

Purposes and legal basis of processing

  • Handling contact and quote requests: the data entered in the contact form is used exclusively to respond to the request received and to prepare a possible commercial proposal. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the data subject's request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Site security and spam prevention: our contact forms are protected by internal anti-spam techniques (for example an invisible "honeypot" field) that do not involve the transfer of personal data to third-party providers. Legal basis: the Owner's legitimate interest in the security of the service (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Map display: some pages may include a Google Maps map showing the areas we serve. It is loaded only after consent is given via the cookie banner.
  • Legal obligations: retention of accounting and administrative data where required by current tax legislation. Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • Contact via WhatsApp: the website provides a button to contact us via WhatsApp. If you choose to use it, the conversation and related data (phone number, message content) are processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. according to its own privacy policy. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Providing data through the contact form is optional, but necessary in order to receive a reply: without such data it will not be possible to process the request.

Cookies and third-party services

For detailed information on technical and profiling cookies and any third-party services used (including Google Maps), please refer to our Cookie Policy, where you can also manage your consent preferences at any time.

The fonts used on this website are hosted directly on our servers (self-hosted) and do not involve any data transmission to Google or other external providers.

As of the publication date of this notice, the website does not use advertising profiling cookies, statistical analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics) or tracking pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel). Should such tools be introduced in the future, this notice and the Cookie Policy will be updated accordingly and consent will be requested via the dedicated banner before any non-technical script is activated.

Processing methods and data retention

Data is processed using IT tools and stored on the servers of the website's hosting provider, with appropriate technical and organisational security measures in place to prevent loss, unlawful use or unauthorised access. Data collected through the contact form is kept for the time needed to handle the request and, if a commercial relationship is established, for the period required by accounting and tax obligations; after that period, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Data communication and transfer

Data is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties. Some of the technical services described above (Google Maps) are provided by Google LLC, which may also process data outside the European Economic Area on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. The website provides a contact button via WhatsApp: if you choose to use it, the conversation data (phone number and message content) are processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. according to its own privacy policy. The website also contains links to our social profiles (for example Instagram): browsing those external platforms is subject to their respective privacy policies.

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, you have the right to ask the Controller at any time for: access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability, within the limits and under the conditions set out in articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Requests can be sent to info@circuscatering.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing of your data violates current legislation.

Minors

This website and the services offered are not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data relating to minors.

Changes to this notice

The Controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time, giving due notice on this page. Please check this page periodically, paying particular attention to the date of the last update.
